Aran's insights into training have appeared in a wide range of publications related to martial arts, health and fitness and security. These include: Aviation Security International, Inside Kung Fu, Black Belt, Security Management Today, Safety and Health Practitioner, and Global Defence Review. He has also appeared in The Financial Times and is the author of Safety Response The Essential Guide to your Personal Safety.
He is the self defence consultant for intelligence publication Eye Spy and currently runs a popular column with Uk martial arts magazine Combat, titled The Negotiator.Along with his role as an instructor, Aran acts as a martial arts advisor within the media industry; providing insights and training relating to self defence and movement.
